Although ArcView GIS 3.3 is an old software and discontinued, it is still used by some people because of its powerful ability for simple shp processing and also has the advantage of having a lot of map layouts in one project.
Arcview GIS is a Geographical Information System trendsetter in the 90's. This is the ESRI product software that became the forerunner to ArcInfo Workstation which later became ArcGIS. For GIS users who have worked since the 90s, they certainly learned GIS and worked using this software at that time. So don't forget the history that this software was the first step in the development of GIS and also the birth of the famous spatial data format, namely shapefile or shp. Shp was created for ArcView GIS 3.x software and is still in use today or nearly 30 years since its birth.
The simple way to use this software, light weight, and can create several layouts in one project is one of the advantages of this software until now. But indeed for spatial analysis, especially the advanced software is out of date. But if it's just a map layout, this software is still used today.
